Love transcends distance.

Our mission is to provide a dignified farewell to low-income Latino migrant families who have lost a family member outside of their home country, by facilitating, managing, and covering the cost of repatriating the body.

Through humane, legal, and logistical support, we seek to alleviate the emotional and economic burden on their families, respecting their traditions, their grief, and their right to mourn.

To be a leading organization in the Americas for the humanitarian repatriation of migrants, recognized for its ethical commitment, its international solidarity network, and its social impact, guaranteeing that low-income families can receive their loved one who has passed away abroad.

Our Story and Philosophy

Resting at Home was born in January 2025 out of a real and painful need faced by thousands of Latin American families each year: the economic impossibility of repatriating the remains of a loved one who passed away abroad.

Founded by a group of professionals committed to the Latino community, our organization emerged from the recognition that behind every family unable to bring their loved one home, there is a story of migration, hope, and, ultimately, a loss made even more devastating by economic barriers.

Our Expansion Plan

Resting at Home is not just a charitable organization; we are a network of hope that connects supportive hearts with families in need. Every donation, every shared story contributes to building a future where no Latino family has to face alone the impossibility of bringing home the one they love most.

Our main premise is that in the most difficult moments, the community becomes family. Resting at Home exists to ensure that no one faces alone the pain of not being able to say a proper farewell to a loved one.
